The Broker Gateway concept was created by the late Welsh based Greek entrepreneur Peter Phillipou back in the late 1990's.

Starting initially in the 1970's as a small insurance broker, the business flourished and grew rapidly by offering a range of insurance schemes marketed nationally, establishing a number of close relationships with some of the UK's leading insurers.

The Broker Gateway at the time represented a major investment by Mr Phillipou and was funded extensively developing trials over a six year period.
